MRH Youth Sports winter sports registration opens on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 6:00 a.m., at MRHYS.org.

Winter sports include basketball (1st-8th grades) and wrestling (also 1st-8th grades). 

Basketball registration will close on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, and wrestling registration will close in January 2026.

For basketball:

The teams are capped at 10 players. Once that has been reached, a waitlist will start. If we have 18 players registered, and a coach identified by October 14, we will have a second team. 

Players are placed on teams on a first-come, first-served basis. The earlier you sign up in the registration process, the better chance you have of being assigned to a team.

Practices will begin the week before Thanksgiving, and the 8-game season will start the weekend of January 3, 2026, wrapping up in either late February or early March. All games will be played in Clayton.

A link to the MRHYS uniform store will be included in your registration confirmation email. Please order your uniforms (basketball jersey & shorts) in a timely manner.If you are on a waitlist, please do not order uniforms until you have been removed from the waitlist.

For wrestling:

Registration for wrestling includes a t-shirt.
Practices will begin the week of Nov. 10.

Wrestlers will have the option to sign up for meets, but they are not a requirement. A $50 refundable deposit for a singlet is required if they sign up for a meet.

If you are interested in being a coach for either sport, please sign up during the registration period.

Please make sure you have paid all past-due balances from prior seasons before registering.
