Fall Sports Registration Opens Monday, July 1 at 6:00 a.m. CST

Mark your calendars! Fall sports registration opens on Monday, July 1 at 6 AM CST, and runs through Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Click here to register at MRHYS.org starting on July 1 at 6 AM CST.

Fall sports include:
Soccer: Pre-K through 8th grade

For Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grades only - registration will remain open through the first couple of weeks of school so new families at the ECC can register.

Volleyball (girls): 3rd grade through 8th grade Cross country: 6th grade through 8th grade Tennis (girls): 7th and 8th grade

Registration is first-come, first-served, which means that the earlier you sign up in the registration period, the better chance you have to be placed on a team. Also, teams/sports are dependent upon parents volunteering to coach and registration numbers, as well as league availability. We cannot offer all sports if we don’t have enough players signed up or enough volunteer coaches, so please consider coaching!

Financial aid is available. Please select that option at registration.

Also, if you have an outstanding balance on your MRHYS account, please make sure to pay that amount before registering.

Reach out to [email protected] with any questions. We look forward to a great fall sports season!

Additional Soccer Information

2024 Fall Soccer

Please note that you may not get the same coach or team as last year. We do not guarantee coach , team or player placements of any kind. We do not guarantee practice days of the week either as they are at the discretion of our volunteer coaches. We choose teams at random (except for some very rare situations which are solely at the discretion of MRHYS)

Pre-K and K: Shirts will be provided prior to the start of the season--no need to order directly!

***1st-8th Grades: A link to the uniform store will be sent separately in a few days after July 15th (and later for 1st grade). Players in grade levels 1st-8th will need to have a team jersey (this is not the same jersey that is used by Pre-K and K), plus shorts and socks. Shin guards are also required for players of all ages.***

Please make sure to get your order in before the store closes.

(If you are applying for financial aid, please complete this form:
and include your uniform needs there.)

If it turns out that there are not enough registrants for a full team, you will be contacted and refunded your full amount paid. Also, if not enough coaches volunteer (even if you are not on waitlist) your registration fee will be refunded. So, please consider volunteering

You will be contacted by your coach regarding the practice schedule. Please be patient it maybe mid August for grades 2nd-8th (and mid September for Pre-K, K and 1st) when you hear something. If you have any questions, feel free to contact [email protected]

*If it turns out there are not enough volunteer coaches, kids will be placed on teams in the order they registered. The remaining kids will be refunded their fee if they are unable to play.

**Refunds for a child dropping off the team because they changed their mind will not be issued once practices have started. If a child chooses not to play, there will be a $20 processing charge taken out of the refund.

---Practices will begin in late August for those entering 2nd-8th grade, and will begin in mid/ late September for Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st.

Practice night and time are based solely on volunteer coach availability which may not accommodate your schedule.

We will have a weeknight practice with eight Saturday and/or Sunday games starting in 2nd week of September usually through October (possibly November depending on weather).
If we are able to be in the Clayton league the teams will more than likely be divided by boys and girls teams and the games will be 8 v 8 (7 fielders with 1 dedicated goalkeeper).
If we are not able to be in the Clayton League we will have coed teams and they will play 5 v 5 to get more ball touches (4 fielders with 1 dedicated goalkeeper). Games will be refereed by coaches.
***The above is subject to change as we get more information for the 2nd grade options.

Grades 3-8: MRH Youth Sports will play in the Clayton League if available:
3rd – 4th Grades play 8 v 8 (7 fielders with 1 dedicated goalkeeper).
5th – 8th Grades play a full squad of 11 v 11 (10 fielders with 1 dedicated goalkeeper).

Games for Grades 3-8 will usually begin the 2nd weekend of September, and they will be scheduled for an eight game season. The City of Clayton will reschedule games due to weather, but will not reschedule games due to forfeit.

GAME LOCATIONS for Grades 3-8: Games will be played at Shaw Park, Wydown Middle School, Gay Field, Stacy Park (Olivette), or Warson Park (Olivette). Coaches will be notified when the schedule is available.
