Spring sports registration is February 1-14, 2020

Details on MRH Youth Sports Spring sports- Baseball,  and Track and Field Registration opens Feb. 1-14, 2020

Baseball/softball
1) Registration is open to children who live in the MRH District, rising KG (5 year old pre-k who will be entering KG in 2019) thru 8th grade. 
2) Baseball and Softball teams are capped and spots are assigned on a first come first serve basis.
3) A wait list will start once we hit team cap players until we know if we have enough kids for 2 teams. If spots open up on the team, children from the wait list will be placed on the team.
4) If there are enough for 2 teams, and a volunteer  who is willing to coach, we can have a 2nd team. 
5) MHRYS reserves the right to reject registrations received after the deadline or when teams are full.   
6) A minimum of 12 players (8 for KG and 1st grade) are required to field a team.  
7) Wait listed players who don't make it onto a team will be referred to the Webster Groves Baseball/Softball League for registration.
8) Practices will start in late March, with games going from late April-July1, 2020. Practices will be in MRH parks and fields and games primarily in Webster.  The practice night is selected by the coach.
9) Coaches are needed!  You can volunteer to be a coach by selecting that option during the online registration process. 1
0) Registration fees are $40 for Pre-K (rising KG), KG, 1st grade and 2nd grade. $80 for 3rd-8th.  Uniforms are $60 and are are purchased separately. Financial Aid is available and the form can be found online at www.mrhys.org.
11) Players and families with past due balances need to contact Youth Sports ([email protected]) to make payment arrangements and/ or submit financial aid paperwork. MRH Youth Sports can cancel registration if there are open balances that do not have payment arrangements in place. 
12) Uniforms for baseball and softball can be ordered via link that is provided as part of your registration confirmation. Team rosters are assigned by MRH Youth Sports, taking into account number and ability of kids for balanced teams of equal abilities. Keeping teammates, and/or the same coach from year to year, is not guaranteed.

Track and Field
1) Track and Field will be offered for 6th-8th graders
2) Practices will be at the MRH High school track after school, twice per week from March- May
3) Bus transportation from MRHE will be available for 6th graders
4) Events included will be 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600 m, relays, long jump and shot-put 
5) Cost will be $25 which includes a uniform shirt
